Man v. Nature

A cacophony of opposing networks—plant, stone, steel.
The ballet of human structures of confinement dancing with nature’s amorphous struggle to
re-attain it’s eternal place as ruler of the planet

I found beauty in the silent nobility of nature adapting itself to compete with the seemingly dominant structures of man. As if fighting back to reclaim it’s territory.

A note on the titles:
All of these paintings were done from the same spot in a more or less 360°  view.

My love of word puzzles therefore, inspired Man v Nature: The Game

By using a two letter title for each painting, a word game was born. I gave the viewer the first painting and it was then their job to put the paintings in the correct order. Then unscramble and decipher the two 10 letter words that expose the answer as to where I was when these were painted. For your convenience I put them in order here. What can I say? I like word games.
